BIO - You know someone has a lot of experience in this industry when their DRI Certification number is 48!
Betsy is well known to most of us as a former Government of Canada Director of IT Security & Continuity Management and instructor for DRI Canada for over 20 years.
She holds several certifications including MBCP with DRI; ITIL; ICS 400; and was a Municipal Fire Chief & Community Emergency Management Coordinator (CEMC).
Her academic training is with the University of hard knocks majoring in BCM.
Her experience spans 25 years as highly successful employee, consultant, instructor and facilitator of all things BCM/DR.
Now retired from active BCM/DR project work, Betsy has created a series of sessions she calls “Tips from the Trenches”.

Synopsis - Sayers Recovery Group developed a 2 day workshop for creating and managing the challenges of a Pandemic in your organization. In this 45 minute overview, Betsy will provide an overview of the workshop and briefly walk you through the workshop concepts and toolset.
The presentation includes attendees participating in a game of ‘Pandemic Poker’.
