Corona VirusDear DRIE,
We at DRIE Toronto are serious about keeping our members informed about the latest events around the world in our space and disciplines. The Novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) is one of these events – the ripple effect is cascading across the world: it's not just individuals, families, companies, local Governments but countries and continents that are affected.
Directly or indirectly we are all affected, regardless of who, what or where we are. This virus and it's potential threat has rippled down into our local communities, businesses and now families and of course, all of us as BCM or DR practitioners. Who here, has not brushed off and revised the old pandemic plan and updated it?
Some DRIE Members are receiving Media enquires seeking responses to this Global Health Emergency.
The WHO (World Health Organization), as the overall leader in this epidemic has stepped up to direct the overall United Nation response (not all countries are a member of WHO).
We have gathered together a list of credible, global resources that we will continually refresh that DRIE members may find useful.
Please feel free to share the information as there has been much misinformation and many false myths currently in circulation.
