Exercise Considerations for Outage, Emergency, and Disaster Plans
Jeanne Powell MBCP, President/CEO, DAHR Consulting Services
Outage, Emergency, and Disaster - they're all the same, right? Likewise, aren't Tests, Drills, and Exercises the same things? Wrong! Most of us throw these terms around as though they mean the same thing and are interchangeable, but they're not. They describe different magnitudes of business disruptions and walkthroughs with or requiring different resource and effort concentrations. Generally speaking, our execution planning focus is met through well conceived walkthroughs that enable everyone involved to better highlight gaps, overlaps, intra and inter dependencies of individual plans and mixtures of plans, as potential scenario dimensions might require. Come learn about the differences between the terms and how applying combinations may enable better evaluation and practice designs.
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
